This is why we’ve added 300mm, 400mm and 1200mm widths to the existing 500mm and 600mm available in LightTower® by Hettich, the illuminated tower unit larder storage concept launched in February this year.

Dozens of kitchen studios have already installed demonstration units, and with these new sizes, the potential impact for ambient and task lighting in kitchen design is huge.

LightTower® features hassle-free, no connection illumination and is based on the exceptional AvanTech YOU platform drawer system.

For new kitchens and retrofit, LightTower® comprises five pre-assembled drawer boxes with runners and internal fronts, and, as of now, comes in a choice of five widths.

Each drawer is individually illuminated automatically when opened. The 4,000K light requires no complicated connections. A practical rechargeable battery pack adheres to the rear panel.

Smooth, effortless drawer opening and closing is assured thanks to high-quality 30 kg runners, and installation is easy. LightTower® comes with a jig to help mark up the cabinet for fitting the runners with precision.

Hinges are an additional option where existing hinges do not provide the zero protrusion required for the drawers to slide open.
